Tuesday is JCCV’s annual Giving Day.
The JCCV leads with strength in response to today’s unprecedented challenges.
Every day, we are working tirelessly to:
- Support individuals facing antisemitism;
- Present a calm and moderate voice in the media;
- Represent and advocate for our community to Government;
- Upskill public and private sector workers to better understand Jewish Victorians;
- Connect and support Jewish organisations across Victoria, and
- Build bridges across faiths and cultures.
From fear to safety. From silence to solidarity. From disconnection to understanding.
The JCCV acts where it matters most:
- Helping Jewish teenagers feel safe again at school,
- Supporting organisations under attack,
- Fostering mutual respect through initiatives like our recent Pre-Rosh Hashanah Interfaith Seder,
- Leading with strength in the face of attacks on our places of worship,
- Standing beside families during times of need,
- Supporting community organisations in crisis,
- Working hand-in-hand with non-Jewish schools across Victoria to change culture and build understanding.
But we cannot do this alone.
