The Jewish Immersion Program (JIP) helps non-Jewish service providers to gain a deeper understanding of Victoria’s Jewish community. The program explores the Victorian Jewish community’s characteristics, its diversity and its contemporary challenges. We are proud to offer regular JIP programs to a range of local councils, health care and aged care services and emergency service personnel.
Adaptable program
The JIP is made up of core and optional modules adaptable to your team and organisation’s objectives. These modules can cover the community’s history, demography, Jewish practice, the community today, and Jewish responses to broader challenges, such as racism and gender inequality.
Experienced presenters
Engaging and interactive modules presented by community leaders and experienced facilitators.
In-person
or online
Available as a face-to-face program that can be delivered at a range of locations, with the option of a synagogue tour. Also available online with streamlined and interactive delivery.
