The JCCV is honoured to invite you to join us for the annual Yom Hashoah Commemoration 2024.

WE ARE HERE
This year, the Commemoration is guided by the theme of “We Are Here”, the last line of Zog nit keyn mol – the Partisan Song.
Our evening will explore what We Are Here means to us as a community. We will honour the memory of those who perished, we will commend the legacy of those who survived, and acknowledge the generations that have followed, who are the custodians of their stories.
We would like to invite you to share images that reflect what “We Are Here” means to you. These images, of your ancestors, family today, or memories of establishing life in Melbourne after the war, will be used as part of the event.
We look forward to honouring the memory of your loved ones together.
